Homestead Salt Lake City - Mid Valley

The staff was better than any four star hotel we have ever stayed at.

There was no pool only a hot tub. The room had a kitchenette, which I appreciated but did not use other than the fridge, but the bed was broken which I did not discover until the middle of the night when I shifted my weight to the right side of the bed, the box springs leaned right and everything nearly tipped over. Hotel is good for the price we paid for. I liked the studio for a couple. Internet speed was good. I rate this hotel 8 on a scale of 10 as a economy hotel.

It's hard to get a decent workout while traveling, and the 24 hour fitness partnership made a huge difference in the quality of my stay. Also it is convenient to all parts of Salt Lake City.

great location & comfortable room.

My room at the Homestead was disgusting. The phone and alarm clock were splattered with something brown and sticky, that I hope was soda, and there was food stuck to the blankets. The light switches, walls and bath tub were equally gross. I will never stay there again and would not recommend the Homestead to anyone. ...read more
